| Essential Job description | § Verbally screen all the beneficiaries attending different OPDs of the hospital using screening tool
§ Ensuring that all the identified presumptive cases reach the designated Doctor § Ensure that all the identified presumptive cases provide sputum § Transport the sputum to the xpert testing site, bring the result back to the hospital and register the TB patient § TB screener will facilitate the diagnosed patients in identification of treatment supporter and collection of medicine from the trained paramedics § S/he will support the trained paramedic in preparing the TB R & R tools § In case of Rifampicin Resistance (RR) detected, coordinate with the DFS for further management and registration at the PMDT site § Coordinate with Regional Coordinator (RC), District TB Coordinator (DTC), District Lab Supervisor (DLS), Private Healthcare providers and Lab technician for effective implementation of TB-program § Responsible for submission of programmatic record to the District Field Supervisor on monthly basis in line with the PPM Operational Guidelines. § Maintain stock register for ATT drugs, lab reagents and other material received from district store. § Prepare monthly record of the screened, presumptive, positive TB case and RR cases and report to the DFS § Perform other required tasks assigned by the supervisor § Counsel eligible family members of Bacteriologically Positive Patient for screening and LTBI/TB preventive treatment § Conduct household visits of Bacteriologically positive TB patients for counseling of their families for screening and LTBI treatment (eligible members only) on need basis § Counselling of Rifampicin Resistant TB patients who refused to get registered at PMDT sites § Develop and follow the monthly work plan in coordination with the supervisor § Ensure timely LTBI/preventive treatment data collection and provision to implementing partners for analysis § Facilitate Project Manager / Regional Coordinator and others officials during field M&E visit in the respective area. § Support the digitalization of all PPM data and facilitate the BMGF staff during their field visits. § Any other task or responsibility as assigned by the Project Manager/ Regional Coordinator from time to time. § Strict and timely compliance of the office orders/instructions issued by H.O from time to time. |

| Qualifications/Skills: | § Graduation preferably in social sciences or relevant discipline with minimum of two years’ experience of working in development sector as a Screener/similar role.
§ At least 2 years of relevant work experience with national and International organization preferably in health sector. § Excellent communication, counselling, coordination and training skills require. § Fluency in written and spoken English, Urdu, Pashtu will be a plus. § Good computer skills including MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Power Point) § Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and organization’s policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all in-country venues § Strong morals viz. honesty, transparency, generosity, and respect § Well motivated, team member able to work alone and/or without supervision § Duty Stations: Swat (Residents possessing District domicile of the concerned district will be given preference). § Maximum age limit: 35 years § Mandatory documents: Valid Driving License Motor Car/Motor Cycle § Personal Laptop is mandatory |
