District Field Supervisor (Hungu, Lower Chitral & Swat)

|Job Description in summary||The District Field Supervisor assist the Regional Coordinator in planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and reporting the project activities. Maintains close working relationship with the government authorities, civil society partners and other stakeholders as applicable, and focuses on achieving project objectives and indicators and maintains all documents related to the field activities.|
|Job description||§ Coordinate and establishment of close liaison with District Health Authorities viz DHO, DTC, RC, DLS, Cross checker, private HCFs, PPM labs, X-pert sites, Large private hospitals including NGO led & parastatal hospitals and other stakeholders for effective implementation of PPM activities.
§ Plan, organize and implement GF approved PPM activities in the districts in coordination and with the collaboration of district health authorities to create awareness in the community
§ With the support of district TB programme and health authorities organize training / orientation session for the private health care providers
§ Organizes community gatherings /area notable meetings for creating TB awareness and mobilizes the community to seek TB care from the private providers associated with PPM project
§ With the collaboration of the district TB programme and enabled private provider; identification & selection of hot spot for organizing chest camps as per operational guidelines in the nearby rural/peri urban areas of the private providers for TB suspect identification, diagnosis and treatment.
§ Will be responsible for the data entry of chest camps both in hard & soft.
§ Distribute TB education material among community, and maintain proper record.
§ Will be responsible to maintain infection prevention / Covid/waste disposal / proper use of PPEs SOPs during all camps.
§ Participate in meetings, organized by others partners working for TB control in the districts and provide possible support for strengthening the system.
§ Facilitate Project Manager / Regional Coordinator and others officials during field M&E visit in the respective area.
§ Collect and compile updated data of the TB patients registered by the private providers (viz; TB05 of GPs, Lab and attach the yellow page with TB01 cards, TB03 register, 100% physically verified contact screening of B+ve TB cases.
§ Follow up of registered TB cases) and submits to H.O for further sharing with the district TB programme.
§ Responsible for maintaining chronological record (programmatic and financial) including activity photographs, minutes of meetings and field monitoring reports, etc. of all the field activities at the district level
§ Responsible for submission of programmatic and financial record to the regional office of all PPM activities on monthly basis in line with the Operational Guidelines.
§ To meet the assigned targets of TB cases registration and activities, also ensuring the quality of the work
§ To conduct regular visits of Bac positive patients for contact screening registered for presumptive identification and examination to exclude LTBI for giving them TPT.
§ To support hospital as well as private HCF staff in maintaining TB R&R tools and anti-TB drug stock for patients registered.
§ To develop a regular follow-up mechanism for the identification of TB suspects, MDR suspects, and registration of new bacteriologically positive cases and ensuring registration of Rifampicin Resistant (RR) cases at the PMDT site.
§ To support and facilitate supervisory visits from the national, provincial, and district level.
§ Support the digitalisation of all PPM data and facilitate the BMGF staff during their field visits.
§ Prepare monthly and quarterly reports of the activities conducted in the district and timely submit to the regional coordinator and H.O.
§ Prepare and submission of his weekly work plan to RC and main H.O along with activity report of the previous week.
§ Any other task or responsibility as assigned by the Project Manager/ Regional Coordinator from time to time.
§ Strict and timely compliance of the office orders/instructions issued by H.O from time to time and to keep secrets of all the official matters, while assisting the management
|Qualifications/Skills:||§ Graduation preferably in social sciences or relevant discipline.
§ At least 2 years of relevant work experience with community based programs preferably in Health Sector.
§ Ability to understand / speak English, Urdu and Pushto.
§ Computer Literate (MS Office). Must have his own lap top.
§ Ability to stand in front of a group without showing fear or arrogance
§ A desire to contribute to national development through community empowerment
§ Strong morals viz. honesty, transparency, generosity, and respect
§ Well motivated, team member able to work alone and/or without supervision
§ Willingness to undertake further training offered by and required by the programme
§ Excellent communication, counselling, coordination and training skills required.
§ Must have a valid motor car/motor cycle driving license.
